King Memorial Library is an automated library. Patrons will need a library card with a numerical ID number for scanning. The card can be used at any automated library in the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System. A PIN number unique to your card is also available for online ordering through the Library System. We have a pamphlet with step-by-step directions for online use.
Load periods:
- New Books – 2 weeks
- Books in stacks and Magazines – 3 weeks
- DVDs – 1 week
- Audiobooks – 3 weeks
eBooks are available through OverDrive. You can also place holds via the online catalog for materials to be picked up in Machias.
Copies and print-outs:
- $0.20 black and white; $1.00 color
- $1.00/page for faxes
- computers and a scanner are also available for patron use.
Clubs, civic groups, and organizations may use the Helen V. Ponton Community Room free of charge. Contact the library for more information and scheduling.
